AT&T to throttle data speeds in October

rumor has it they will be adopting similar tactics to their competitor verizon. this move is aimed mainly at the data hogs on the network. the throttling will kick in one users reach their bandwidth cap (which in most cases is 2G per month.) before you get upset, you must understand this maintains a more consistent data coverage to all, and will only affect you if you’re doing the wrong thing. take a look at your monthly data usage to see if you’ve ever come any way close to the 2G limit.
