EDWIN X LAVENHAM – FALL/WINTER 2012 COLLECTION
Fall and winter will be here before you know it, the folks at Edwin and Lavenham team up with a great looking collaboration project worthy of your seasonal closet!
English equestrian outerwear brand Lavenham has partnered with a Japanese denim label Edwin on a limited edition collection comprising the Life Saver Jacket and Life Saver Gilet, both crafted from a material that appears at first glance to be warm charcoal wool. In reality, the fabric is a heavily brushed 9.5oz oxford denim, developed in Japan exclusively for the project and using bi-color yarns woven on low-tension narrow looms. Both the jacket and gilet feature quilted construction with black cotton corduroy trim, two flap pockets and a single chest pocket, as well as specially developed removable shank buttons. Made in Lavenham’s factory in Sudbury, England, the Edwin x Lavenham Life Saver Jacket and Gilet are available now at end’s online store.
