F*ck Progressive Insurance! “Matt Fisher Says Progressive Insurance Defended Sister’ Killer To Avoid Paying Claim”

An online rant by Matt Fisher; whose sister was killed in a car crash in Baltimore went viral this week after he accused Progressive Advanced Insurance Co. of siding with the driver whose car hit his sister’s vehicle in June 2010. In other words they are looking for the dumbest possible customers so they can screw them over. I’m sorry for the man’s sister and I hope his family gets their justice. No bigger sleaze on this earth than sh*tty insurance companies.

Matt Fisher posted a blog this week titled “My Sister Paid Progressive Insurance to Defend Her Killer in Court” in order to detail what he said was two years of stalling and legal maneuvering by the company as it sought to avoid full payment on her policy.
Fisher says the ordeal has been a “kick in the face” for his family. He did not say how much money they are allegedly owed.
Fisher says his sister Katie was killed in Baltimore on June 19, 2010, when her car was struck by an underinsured driver who apparently ran a red light.
The insurance company of the at-fault driver paid out Katie’s estate “basically immediately” but Progressive refused to pay out the difference.
“Here I address you, Prospective Progressive Insurance Customer: someday when you have your accident, I promise that there will be enough wiggle room for Progressive’s bottomless stack of in-house attorneys to make a court case out of it and to hammer at that court case until you or your surviving loved ones run out of money,” Fisher said.
