Google Debuts $250 Chromebook

Google and Samsung have introduced a new Chromebook laptop with updated specs at a really low price of $250. Chrome OS has its drawbacks, but for some users, this $250 device could be a bargain.
The new Samsung Chromebook is being marketed as a second computer or laptop. It only weighs about 2.5 pounds and is only 0.8 inches thick, making it as thin and light more expensive devices. Its light weight is by it having a small 11.6-inch screen and getting rid of all moving parts like fans.
The laptop comes with a new dual-core ARM processor and 16GB of solid-state storage. The specs sheet is comparable to tablet rather then a laptop to be honest. The chromebooks themselves haven’t sold very well in the past, but this might get the ball rolling on some sales with its cheap price.
The new Chromebooks will be sold in Google’s Play Store as well as at Best Buy, where the chain will be setting up “Chromezones” to demonstrate the new laptops. You can pre-order one here; they should ship in about a week.
