HP ElitePad 900 With The Promise Of Microsoft’s Windows 8 Is The iPad Alternative
Although there is no release date set in stone for the HP ElitePad 900, I am going to give you all my (I hope its coming soon and can’t wait) date. Some time between now an Christmas! The ElitePad is and will be without question the Best alternative to an iPad. If you have been privileged to partake in the Windows 8 Release Preview, than you would understand why upcoming Windows 8 operated tablets will be next on the list of the need to haves.
Fully functioning Windows 8 in a device the size of an iPad is a God send. Should you not need that much computing power while you are on the go, there is always the RT option; which still offers more functionality than Apple’s iPad at possibly a much more comparable cost. HP has been known to deliver attractive devices. Whether in the form of Desktops, Laptops, and or even Netbooks, their products have often been synonymous with decent quality and great looks. They may also drag tail a bit when it comes to customer service, but certainly make up for that flaw with product pricing. I for one am pleased with the design of the HP ElitePad 900 even when compared to products like the Microsoft’s Surface tablets, and the ElitePads will be coming with a plethora of accessories. No word on an actual release date nor pricing but knowing HP; they won’t be hesitating on getting this out to the masses in a timely fashion. Microsoft is expected to have their Keynote presentation sometime in the near future, so I am sure we should be seeing signs of the ElitePad 900 and other Windows 8 & Windows Phone 8 powered devices.
