If Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak Says It, Should You Believe It?
So I happen to stumble upon some quotes from Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak expressing his feeling to a South African Site about the new iPhone 5. I found his comments to be very liberating considering the ideologies of most “Apple Fan boys”. Not Saying that Mr. Woz is a fan boy but he has been know to tell it like it is when referring to the company that he helped to build into the empire it is today. You should also find what he said pretty damn interesting.
“Part of me wishes Apple had not been so, kind of, arrogant and feeling like ‘we’re the only one with the right clue.’ I wish they had made wider versions — a small and a large version of the iPhone,” -Steve Wozniak
“I think Apple tricked itself by saying ‘Oh, you can reach everything with one thumb.’ And I don’t see anybody having trouble using the larger screens (…) But Apple said that as a defensive move because everyone else had larger screens.” -Steve Wozniak
Ahhh Go on, please Mr. Wozniak…
“Not all people want the same thing. A lot of people want the big screens.” Just as they want big cars and even big meals.”
“You get a feeling you’re getting more with a larger screen,” -Steve Wozniak
Now for many of you who have just frowned up in the face, wondering why the hell this post has even made it to the site…well this is not for you! Personally I feel like every year an iPhone is released (whether typically the same, or minimally different from the last), stock prices for foot callus removal solutions must sky rocket. Perhaps there is some good to Apples repetitiveness! Something tells me that critics and Apple fan boys & girls alike should be able to agree (most reluctantly, of course) that this has got to be the worst iPhone release since the iPhone’s release. I expect more drama to befall Apple before the turn of the year. See you then!
