As Wetpaint Entertainment was the first to report, Jersey Shore Season 6 will begin filming at the end of May and conclude in July.
Now, TMZ reports that filming will conclude on July 7, to be exact. In the past, the cast has spent around two months in the Shore house in Seaside. This brief shooting schedule could mean many things, but we’re guessing that Snooki’s pregnancy has something to do with it.
Snooki has said that she is currently a little over five months pregnant (implying that she may have conceived the short ‘n’ tan mini-meatball with fiance Jionni LaValle around Christmas). That means that by July, she’ll be in her seventh month — surely a critical time for a mom-to-be, at the start of her third trimester. Either Snooks or MTV must have agreed that it wouldn’t be the wisest choice to have Snooki in such a stressful, 24/7 filming mode.
On a different note, at least we’ll get to see the amazing eight celebrate two major holidays — Memorial Day and Independence Day — at the Shore. And don’t forget that Pauly D and The Situation have birthdays around the 4th of July, so we’ll get to see if the roommates exclude Mike from Pauly’s big day like they did last year, and how Mike handles turning 30 while sober!

Jersey Shore Season 6 Will Wrap Filming on July 7
TMZ reports that The Situation will return to MTV’s Jersey Shore for season six, even if he cannot drink. The information was revealed in new legal documents filed by The Situation in his legal battle with Abercrombie & Fitch over GTL-themed clothes. He asked the judge to let him skip a June 14th court date because he says he will be filming Jersey Shore at that time.
The sixth season will tape from May 22 to July 7. He said he’s required to be at the Jersey Shore house the entire time the show is filming, so he would violate his MTV contract if he showed up for the court date
