Nike Introduces The LeBron X
I’ve hear that; “ever great basketball player deserves his or her own shoe.” The problem that many are having here is, how many avid sports fans actually consider LeBron James a great basketball player? I mean lets face it; the 2012 NBA Playoffs and Finals was a perfect example to two things. One, no team capable of beating Miami was actually beaten by my Miami. They were beaten by themselves by executing poorly, an not taking advantage of opportunities when they were presented. Two, if Academy awards came with Championship rings there would be a few award winners playing for the Miami Heat.
Still LeBron is not without some accolades. A win is a win, (is a win)!! Point blank period, and that should just about cover the Championship win. Outside of NBA politics; dude does have extraordinary talents. His court knowledge may be something to argue, but none can argue his ability to create his own shot, move with and without the basketball with either hand and in any direction and to rise to the challenge when faced with such on court. He is a big man with shooting guard and point guard abilities, and if you know anything about the game the you will know that can make you if not impossible to stop, at least a dominant force. So how better to accommodate such an athlete than with his own sneaker right?! Well how about his tenth sneaker edition; dubbed the LeBron X.
I was never a fan of the Nike LeBron collection until the LeBron 9 Elite. They had a somewhat distinguishable look from the rest of the sneakers that were being release, and they didn’t look cheesy! The LeBron X (10) models seem to be slowly but surely looking better to me. I have yet to see a single pair in person but I will certainly know then if I will be indulging in yet another overly expensive pair of sneakers.
I have not received any word on pricing, but I am willing to bet they will reside somewhere around the $250 mark. They will also be very limited in store quantities. Check us out here for more on the Nike LeBron X, as well as other hot Sneaker releases.
