Following in the footsteps of its wingtip sneakers and espadrilles — footwear that spawned hosts of fans, imitators, and detractors alike — this season’s “Levitate” wingtips are a mash-up of a high-end wingtip and performance sneaker. The sole appears to be a take on a transparent, full-length Nike Max Air unit, while the uppers are comprised of burnished leather with brogue detailing. The Fall/Winter “Levitate” range also includes a loafer, Chelsea boot and kiltie brogue, for those looking at other means of rising above the traditional shoe game.
