The Dark Knight Rises Does $160 Million So Far
There has been some efforts to withhold the actual numbers out of respect for victims at Colorado, but some how some way the numbers still got out. The reported $160 Million makes it the third strongest opening weekend ever. Seems as if the tragedy didn’t have much of an impact on sales numbers. I also did a fair bit of crowd sourcing this weekend, and I can honestly say the lines were maddening long, as if nothing ever happened.
