The US Army Air Corps created the cotton made B-10 after leather became hard to source, and finally in 1945 the nylon made flight jacket, the B-15 was officially utilized. Rugged lightweight nylon twill, slash pockets, and draping make this epoch making piece something that can be called the base for modern flight jackets; this WTAPS original B-15A was reconstructed through unique interpretation mixing old style details such as the oxygen tab along with new arrangements such as a removable boa collar. The lining has a mid fill with a thunderbolt pattern.
